 RSS-3000 INSTALLATION
The RSS-3000 is an all-electric drop beam vehicle barrier that is designed to stop or disable vehicles and provide significant protection for entry points.
The
RSS-3000 provides lane coverage up to 15 feet. All Drop Beam Vehicle
Barriers are fully operational and self-contained when shipped from
the factory ready to install. The simple design of the RSS-3000 requires
almost no maintenance even when there are high traffic volumes.
BARRIER CONSTRUCTION DETAILS
- All steel construction, hot dipped galvanized frame with painted
post andbeams.
 Drop Beam Buttresses: The main buttress is 3 feet wide, 6.5
feet long, and 33 inches tall,and the support buttress is 3 feet
wide, 3 feet long and 33 inches tall.
- Beam Dimensions: 3/8" steel tubing, 3 inches wide by 6 inches tall.
- Beam Height: 33 inches to the top of beam from roadway.
- Shipping Weight: 3,000 lbs. at 15' lane coverage (Equipment only, doesn't include concrete foundation).
