LIFE CYCLE MAINTENANCE
Short and long term maintenance costs are many times not fully considered when purchasing security barriers. The
simple design of the RSS-2000
requires almost no maintenance
even when there are high traffic volumes. Ease of maintenance and
reducing recurring maintenance costs were majorconsiderations when
we designed the RSS-2000. The key component of the barrier is an
electromechanical actuator and spring assembly system that virtually
eliminates the high maintenance costsassociated with the hydraulic
or pneumatic barriers on the market. Seeare attached Logistical Life
Cycle Model for a true picture of your CRADLE-TO-GRAVE Operations
and Maintenance Costs.
Quarterly maintenance checks involve greasing the bearings and actuator, as well as removing debris (possibly collected in vault), and adjusting barrier controls if needed. See attached Quarterly Maintenance Checklist.
The RSS-2000 when compared to hydraulic or pneumatic barriers on the market becomes an obvious “BEST VALUE” choice for reliable, cost effective access control.
